I’m starting to get that feeling. You know that feeling, like it’s a Sunday. The only way I can describe it short, is just, “bad”. Sigh. The only reason why I wouldn’t be happy to go back to school is the fact that if you are enrolled in Spanish 2, you must pretty much, take the Spanish 1 final over. Which honestly, Spanish wasn’t my strong point. Though this fun summer is coming to a screeching halt soon. I still have some things to look forward too! Comic-Con 08′! Yes, it’s here, in about a couple of hours. I purchased the four day pass, so if you are attending as well, call my cell phone number, which is located more in the “About Me” section of my web site. On a completely other note, if anyone also like me owns the channel “G4TV”, you might have watched the E3 keynotes/spotlights. They introduced many new things from the, Wii’s “Motion-Plus” which looks cool to me. Well, I populated a list of the “Coolest things I saw during the E3 keynotes”.
Top 5
- Microsoft Announces New Xbox firmware: With thier new features it seems to be aimed for the casual gamer. They announced a lot of cool features in my mind and some that really, didn’t need to be added. The good points will be listed furtherdown in the list.
- Microsoft Pairs with Netflix, and is allowing you to “Share” movies: Yes. Yes, yes. Good move by Microsoft and Netfilx, I think it will generate tons of people to Netflix.
- Resident Evil 5 is Released for the Xbox 360: Ahh, the Resident Evil saga, yes. This one looks fun on the co-op mode.
- The Wii-Motion Plus/Star Wars: Nintendo, is releasing a game that coinsides to a new piece of hard ware, called the, “Wii-Motion Plus”, basically, 3-D rendering on the sensor bar. So, every little movement you make, is rendered. They are paring this with a space dueling Star Wars game. So, as everyone anticipated when the Wii first came out, Yay! “Star Wars Light-Saber Dueling”
- Xbox Live for PC Games: It’s free. Say you want to play Halo 2, online on your computer, against your friend on Xbox live, yep, it still costs 50 dollars. Now, it’s just plain free.
Though some things were great during the E3 keynotes, some were just plain bad. For one, I feel that Sony and Nintendo, more Sony than Nintendo, just bragged and introduced a couple new games. Nothing monumental. Though in my mind Microsoft won. (Words I don’t think I’ve ever put in the same sentance before.) But, they won fair in square in my mind. If you feel that the top 5 should be changed, leave a comment and let me know. I’ll edit it. See ya’ at Comic-Con.
Oh, just so I don’t forget, this is what the new Xbox Firmware will look like.

Yes, there will be avatars. Kinda’ a copy of Nintedo’s “Mii-Place”. But, still cool.
